In 1911 Howard Coffin (Vice President of the Hudson Motor Co) bought 20,000 acres of land on Sapelo Island and began his developing of this beautiful piece of land. In 1926 Coffin then purchased more land which was called Long Island and named it Sea Island. From that point on he built a golf course, "The Plantation" and he opened a Inn and Lodge named "The Cloister" and at that point, Sea Island was born. 

Sea Island, Georgia is known for it's beautiful beach, relaxation of highly social people. Access to Sea Island now is limited, therefore Candace and Kids created a goat's milk soap to smell like the Georgia beach named  - Sea Island. This private barrier island is home to many.

In March, when the cherry blossom trees are blooming and Downtown Macon comes alive with the beauty of Springtime- the Middle Georgia Art Association proudly presents the OLDEST arts & crafts festival in Middle Georgia.  Thousands of visitors and hundreds of vendors from across the country congregate on Mulberry Street to celebrate this exciting festival!  

Mulberry Street Festival is family-friendly with free admission.  This fun event will happen come rain or shine!

The Middle Georgia Art Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts since its inception in 1967.  

 

Sponsoring exhibits at the MGAA Gallery and Market City Cafe, festivals such as the annual Mulberry Street Arts & Crafts Festival, Winter Arts Festival, Youth Arts Festival & Scholarship Program, art classes, and educational programs for our members and the community, MGAA strives to support the artist within us all!

What can a "smell" do for you? Smells bring people peace, smells can take people back in time, smells can provoke attraction. At Candace and Kids Soap Company we love our smells and consider them natural, pure and smells that will bring our customers peace of mind and tranquility.
